I made this piece for a dear friend of mine. It uses black and silver 16g 5/16" rings as well as 3 different sizes of matte black premium scales, all from ChaimailJoe.
The idea behind this one was to make something raven themed. I originally tried using one size of scales, but they didn't quite look like feathers like I had hoped, so I got 2 other sizes and that helped with the layered feather look.
This is one of my favorite pieces to date. I had such a blast making this one and learned so much about chainmail and scalemail.
